Our 2026 Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday 12 April at Dial Post Village Hall, starting at 10:00am.
Following the AGM, at 11:00am, we’ll be hosting a “Meet the Examiner” session with IAM RoadSmart examiner Justin Dennis.
This is a great opportunity to hear directly from an examiner, ask questions, and pick up useful insights.
We look forward to seeing as many members as possible at both the AGM and the Examiner session.

Our annual Wales weekend returns in 2026, offering great roads, great company, and a chance to sharpen your riding skills.
Associates may attend if recommended by their Observer and if that Observer is also attending the event.
The aim of the weekend is simple:
Have fun, make new friends, learn something, and go home a better rider.
The detailed plan will be circulated nearer the time, but the format will be familiar:
WSAM is run entirely by volunteers — members who have passed their advanced test and want to help shape the future of the group.
The Committee currently includes:
Chairman, Secretary, Membership Secretary, Treasurer, Events Manager, Advisor & Complaints Manager, and IT Manager.
We are currently seeking a Communications Manager to coordinate messaging across the website and social media.
This is not a technical role — it’s about clarity, consistency, and keeping members informed.
If you’re interested in contributing to the future of WSAM, please contact our Chairman, Iain White, for an informal chat: iain@wsam.org.uk
All full members are entitled to one Refresher Ride per year.
If you’d like to check your riding standard and keep your skills sharp, contact Alan at
info@wsam.org.uk to book.
We’re always looking for interesting content for the newsletter and website — articles, reviews, ride reports, kit recommendations, or anything of interest to fellow riders.
If you have something to share (respecting copyright), please send it to Liam@wsam.org.uk
WSAM is a registered charity dedicated to promoting advanced, safe motorcycling.
To support our caring ethos, the Committee has agreed to offer discreet financial assistance to members who may otherwise be unable to take part in WSAM events due to financial difficulty.
If you feel this support would help you, please contact jerry@wsam.org.uk in confidence.
