Recruitment to the committee
As you may all be aware West Sussex Advanced Motorcycle group is solely run by a Committee of its members, volunteers, who have passed the advanced test and decided they would like to become involved in helping run our group. They become members of the Committee by putting themselves up for one of the roles at the Annual General Meeting held in April. The Committee currently consists of the Chairman, Secretary, Members Secretary, Treasurer, Events Manager, Advisor and Complaints Manager and IT Manager.

These tasks can be quite challenging and complex and are generally only carried out by the person in that role and only that person knows the full details of what is involved. It’s to this end that we are appealing for any of you interested in helping the Committee in one of these roles to come forward with the view of getting to know the full ins and outs of it. Then possibly taking it over if the current Committee member is unable to carry on for some reason, or to be nominated into that role as the natural turnover of Committee members occurs,

Having new people involved will bring in fresh ideas and will help our Group progress so if you would like to be an influence in how WSAM is run then please contact our Chairman Iain White in the first instance for an initial chat. iain@wsam.org.uk
Thank you,
Brian
IT Manager.
