A few of the WSAM members headed over to Spain for a couple of days enduro riding with TrailBlazersPro in March 2022

It was quite a journey as this trip was booked way back in October 2019 and originally scheduled for March 2020, then Covid happened….. 2 years later the original crew whittled down to a hardy 8 made our way to Malaga.

The wait was worth it, a total of 4 days with a great crowd, the banter was great and the riding was incredibly scenic. This was an intro into off roading, so nothing too demanding. The trails were a mixture of tarmac and loose surface access and fire trails. A steady nerve was needed for some of the tracks with steep drop offs and plentiful switch backs.

The team from Traiilblazers were incredibly helpful and friendly, and were tested with a few bike breakdowns. They always managed to get us going, but the bike fleet was a little tired (Covid had delayed their replacement of the bikes).

Great thanks to the riders, Simon Osborn, Carl Funell,Chris Harris, Frank Leys, Rob Stanbridge, Sharon Grant, Yesh Patel.

Special mentions for John Moore (who started the organisation) and Simon Osborn (who very capably took over and completed the planning)

That was an awesome trip.  Trailblazers have offered further discounts should a group wish to return there.
