The WSAM Wales training trip is making a comeback this year, following a similar format to previous years.
We’re staying at the Metropole Hotel in Llandrindod Wells once again.
Observers will arrive on Wednesday May 21st and spend Thursday and Friday refreshing their skills.
Other members will join us on Friday 23rd, arriving late afternoon. People wanting to ride there in a group will arrange to do so.
All ride home on Monday 26th (Bank Holiday) There will be a group ride back to Sussex for those who’d like to join it.
The event will also be open to Associates if commended by their Observers who are also coming.
The aim is that everyone will have fun, make new friends, learn something and go home a better rider.
On Saturday we will split into small groups, probably one observer to two members. We’ll ride pre-planned routes with refreshment stops when the observers will offer feedback. On Sunday we will form larger groups and set-off on group ride-outs to sample more of the fabulous Welsh roads. Each evening we’ll get together for a review of the day, with opportunities to discuss the good and bad in our own riding, aided by video clips – some pre-recorded, others made on the day, before adjourning to the bar and dinner.
The rate is £135 per night, so the cost of 3 nights ( May 23,24,25th) with bed, breakfast and evening meals, snacks and use of the spa and pool will be £405, or less if sharing a room.
We need to know numbers before confirming room reservations, so please include this in your holiday planning and give us a provisional YES or NO as soon as possible to ensure your place.
